Coach Sam

Coach Sam has been a certified personal trainer for over 11 years, and has a passion for teaching functional strength training to older adults so that they can become strong enough to live their lives fully and independently. She also loves helping clients of all ages and sizes who may be recovering from injuries or dealing with other issues such as MS, arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, scoliosis, etc.

 

Coach Sam is certified through the American Council on Exercise:

  • Fitness Nutrition Specialist - 2015

  • Group Fitness Instructor - 2017

Sam has lived and trained clients in Michigan and Georgia, and she is now in the Maryland and Washington, DC area. She has also taught a variety of classes including water aerobics, cardio kickboxing, stretch, strength and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

Her top two fitness goals for herself and for her clients are to ensure that all exercises are done correctly and to have fun with fitness!

 

Aside from the gym, Sam enjoys reading, hiking, watching movies, traveling and exploring the city around her. Her favorite color is blue, and she absolutely LOVES to help people and make them laugh.
